Welcome! After I had my daughter, that first year was so hard. My husband suggested I start writing again, which led me to starting my Substack. Truly one of the best decisions I made as a new mom.
You've hit the nail on the head here. Everyone is so touchy these days that conversations have to skirt any real issues--whether they be political or personal. People seem to find it so much easier to disengage than to honestly hash out differences--which is where real peace comes from: from feeling understood and trying to give the same to others.
